CHICHESTER WIN
ILL-TEMPERED REPLAY AT SOUTH PARK
Chichester
City will play Peacehaven in the first round proper of the FA
Vase after comfortably beating South Park 4-0 in an ill-tempered
replay on Tuesday night.
Shawn Benjamin opened the scoring for
Chichester
with a glancing near post header from a Briggs corner after 15
minutes and the game was made safe within the first few minutes
of the second half.
First, a short free-kick between Briggs and Moore set up
Archer to score from 8 yards and then Brockway made it 3-0 when
smashing home a Briggs cross moments later.
Chichester Captain Lee Mullen was sent off for kicking out
at an opponent with half an hour remaining but the home side
were also reduced to ten men minutes later when Stone was
carried off injured with no substitutes remaining.
Callum Cutler won and converted a penalty with 5 minutes
left to play and
South
Park
finished the game with nine players when Lavery was dismissed
for a two footed lunge on Ford.
