ADRIAN BROCKWAY DOUBLE EARNS POINT FOR
CHICHESTER
Chichester City
United had to come from two goals behind to earn a point against bottom of the
table Southwick at Church Road on Saturday. The Wickers, who
only had ten points from twenty-nine games before this match,
took the lead through Roberts on 20 minutes and then went 2-0 up
through Joseph on 40 minutes.
Chichester pulled one back
just before half time when Cutler's shot was deflected off Neil
Harris into the path of Adrian Brockway who drove the ball into the net. The
same combination teamed up for Chichester's equaliser when Cutler squared the
ball for Brockway to fire home on the turn.
The game was marred in the
final minutes when a rash challenge from Miah left a Southwick player with a
suspected broken leg. Miah was immediately red carded and the game was held up
for 10 minutes whilst the stricken player received attention.
The result leaves
Chichester in 8th place with ten league games remaining.
