Work is continuing to complete work on the stands and changing rooms but the pitch itself was in good shape despite the wet weather.

City fielded a mixture of familiar faces, newcomers and triallists and took an early lead before the more experienced and settled Camberley line up raised their game to lead 2-1 at half time.

Both sides used a number of substitutes after the break and the visitors eventually cruised to a 5-1 win.

This Saturday City entertain another side from the Combined Counties League when Cove visit for a double header First and Reserve team fixture at 2pm.
